I am retired from the permanent workforce. Taught for 30 years, though.

I am writing a novel or collection of short stories (maybe another year before I'm finished).

I run a book club for a group of about 10 and that's always exciting.

I also have some accomplishment at the keyboard, something I've been working on since I retired 7 years ago: I have a wide interest in all classical compositions, but presently am focused on the works of Chopin.

I have always loved baking and turn out the occasional confection which always gets shared with friends and neighbours.

Life here on the west coast means we get out on the trails. The island is extraordinarily beautiful and I'm blessed to be here.
